FREIGHT INSTRUCTIONS

Portable and mobile X-ray products manufactured by YXLON International A/S, containing pressurized Sulphur Hexafluoride gas (SF6 gas), are during transportation considered to be dangerous goods under hazardous substance code UN 3363, and will therefore be handled accordingly when shipped from Copenhagen, Denmark.

YXLON International A/S will handle future transportation of the X-ray products according to the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Model Regulations, which are adopted into various local regulations of the member states.

To ease our customers’ internal freight handling we have created two Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), one for portable products and one for mobile products, and have obtained a global DMA Approval, which customers can use for sea freight. Section 14 in the MSDS will provide you with all necessary information regarding the transportation.

If you have any questions regarding transportation of the above mentioned products we advise you to contact your local freight provider or authorities to receive the necessary guidance in your local regulation.

YXLON International A/S complies with local and international regulations and we inform our global network of sales distributors when becoming aware of circumstances concerning our products. UN 3363 concerns all manufacturers of portable and mobile X-ray products containing SF6 gas.

YXLON International A/S is responsible for transportation from YXLON International A/S to our recipients' ship-to addresses abroad, and is not accountable for our customers’ daily transportation of the products, nor dangerous goods labelling when re-transported within or re-exported from customers’ own domestic market.
